TheMetalUp - Hello Ewan, nice to meet you. First, tell us a little about you. Ewan Dobson - In the very beginning, I was enjoying the music of the children’s artist, Raffi. Then one day when I was eight years old, I saw the music video for “Kickstart My Heart” by Motley Crue, and was fascinated by the sound of the guitar. I immediately requested lessons and began to learn on an acoustic guitar. I learned the basic techniques of acoustic guitar for about two years before acquiring my first electric guitar. The music that I listened to became heavier and heavier, progressing from Motley Crue to Judas Priest then leading to Metallica and Megadeth. I continued with electric guitar up until the age of 15 when I discovered classical guitar. I took roughly six years of private classical guitar lessons with a teacher at the University of Toronto. Pursuing both electric and classical guitar over the next few years, I increased my knowledge of both technique and style. TheMetalUp - 

TheMetalUp -   Ciao Ewan, piacere di conoscerti. In primo luogo, parlaci un po’ di te. Ewan Dobson - all'inizio, mi stavo godendo la musica d’artista per bambini, Raffi. Poi un giorno, quando avevo otto anni, ho visto il video musicale di "Kickstart My Heart" di Motley Crue, e sono rimasto affascinato dal suono della chitarra. Ho subito chiesto lezioni e cominciai ad imparare su una chitarra acustica. Ho imparato le tecniche di base della chitarra acustica per circa due anni prima di acquistare la mia prima chitarra elettrica. La musica che ho ascoltato è diventata più pesante, passando da Motley Crue a Judas Priest poi da Metallica e Megadeth. Ho continuato con la chitarra elettrica  fino all'età di 15 anni quando ho scoperto la chitarra classica. Ho preso circa sei anni di lezioni private di chitarra classica con un insegnante presso l'Università di Toronto. Studiavo entrambi, chitarra elettrica e classica, nel corso degli anni, ho aumentato la mia cono
