John Frusciante chitarrista dei Red Hot Chili Peppers ha rifiutato di unirsi alla band per la Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame , che sarà celebrata il 14 Aprile nel tempio del rock insieme ai Guns N Roses, Beastie Boys, Faces/Small Faces ...Saranno presenti anche molti ex membri della band, di seguito le dichiarazioni di Chad Smith:  “John non verrà perché non si sentirebbe a suo agio, e noi rispettiamo la sua scelta. Lui è il tipo di ragazzo che quando ha concluso un’esperienza è già in una nuova fase della sua vita. I Chili Peppers non sono nel suo radar per adesso”.

Brian Hugh Warner detto  Marilyn Manson  ha annunciato la data di uscita del nuovo album  ''Born Villain''  che  è il 30 Aprile via  Cooking Vinyl  per la propria etichetta  Hell, Etc .

Il quinto album uscirà sotto il nome di Devin Townsend Project  e si chiamerà ''Epicloud'' conterrà 12 tracce con varie collaborazioni tra cui l'ex cantante dei The Gathering Anneke Van Giersbergen.
